A storm tried to dampen McKenna & Kyle’s wedding day, but it did not succeed! Their ceremony was planned for the top deck, and the SunQuest crew did a fantastic job transitioning the festivities to the second deck, which turned out so beautiful and intimate! Then they danced the storm away until their bubble exit! We were able to meet up a couple of days later for a bride & groom session that was a DREAM!
The house they rented at Sandestin Resort for bridal party prep had the perfect backyard on the water for some sweet robe photos.
After getting all dolled up, we headed over to the Solaris Yacht, where McKenna’s family helped her with the final gown details, and then on to the vows!
I loved McKenna’s classy + tropical style: giant, green palm fronds everywhere with gorgeous white flowers and sparkly details.
Their son was very much not a fan, but ended up being a part of the sweet ceremony regardless.
On to party time!
I found out that McKenna and Kyle and their families were staying through the following week for a mini honeymoon/family vacation at the house they’d rented for the bridal prep. Since the rain didn’t allow for any bride & groom photo time outside, we arranged to meet up two days after the wedding for a portrait session. I was so happy it worked out this way, and we got to play with parts of the Sandestin grounds that we often don’t have time for during a wedding day, so it was a double win!
We started at their rental by the water, and then we explored the golf courses and grounds of the resort.
